I find that after going off road and driving frequently that the bolts that connect the leaf springs to the rear axle get loose at times. Also the bolts that connect the leaf springs to the body get somewhat loose at times.
Another cause of noise can be due to the garbage brackets Jeep puts on the body to connect the shocks. I have one that is half broken but still bolts. I will be replacing them with JKS brackets along with Bilstein 5150 shocks sooner than later.
Lubricating the yokes from time to time is good too.

I red locktited my axle nuts when I bought my 95XJ and am going to add bar eleminator brackets for the rear shocks when I replace them next time.
